I have had many pets over the years, from guinea pigs and rabbits, to dogs and even horses. I've also lived in several states and on both coasts of the US, so I've been to many a veterinarian in that time. I am pleased to say that the best veterinarian office I've ever been to in terms of expertise, genuine caring for both animal and human customers, and fairness in pricing of services is the office of Dr. Terry McGrath of West Chester, PA.

I'm replacing the auto-generated crap this site want's to publish for a real review. Dr. Terry McGrath is by far the best Vet in the West Chester area ne SE PA. He is very hands-on and very personal. I've gone to him for birds, dogs & cats and found his knowledge both broad and deep. And If he doesn't know or can't do it, he has a vast professional-friend base with whom he consults. He also is always concerned with the quality-of-life of the pet-friend in question and will suggest what is best for your best-friend, rather than pointlessly and painfully extending the lifespan of said pet for the owner's sake (or for the sake of a Vet who wants more office visits).
Terry has been there for me for healthy check-ups through tough situations like end stage Lymphoma in a 6 yo Whippet. Also, his waiting room can be quite entertaining as he see's birds, snakes, bunnies, ferrets, tortoises and other exotic creatures. He is also one hell of a hammered-dulcimer player!
In summary, you and your beloved will never feel like 'just-another Owner with a pet', but rather a friend who is looking for the best way to care for and guide an animal friend through one's life...and Terry will be your guide.
