I am experienced in dealing with this business so I do have background in what i am about to provide. I have been disappointed in their performance, their staff and their customer service. I was the second person to be seen in the morning, and it took 2.5 hrs for a simple rabies shot and to obtain heartworm pills. The front receptionist must have difficulty spelling or is too busy to listen to what their customers have to say because she ALWAYS mispells my pets' names. And it seems to take an act of God for her to correct it. The doctors seem to lack customer focus. You are in and out like cattle. Very little is explained. The Vet did not even notice huge rashes on my dog until I had to point it out. This was AFTER he looked the dog over. 2.5 hrs for a 30 min visit? I received no apologies or reasoning as to why it took so long.
Above all, get this... this was my puppy's 2nd checkup and they had given him a poop test to check for worms and such... their results came back negative but gave him the proper meds anyways, which is protocol. the next morning, took the puppy out for a walk and there was a 6" roundworm in his poop and evidence of eggs!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! their test results just came back negative for worms the day before and the next morning there was a 6" worm with eggs in his poop!!!!
Pasquotank Animal Hospital needs a little competetion in Elizabeth City. They are the only Vet in the area so they know they can do what they want and get away with it. I HIGHLY encourage other potential vets docs out there to consider putting these people out of business and fast.
