I recently brought my cat to this vet when she had stopped eating and found out she was suffering from renal failure. On the second day my cat was here, the vet went on an extended lunch for four hours, during which time my cat's fluids became blocked. I was informed by the vet assistant that this had happened. My cat died that night. When I inquired about the blockage, and how long it had gone on for, the vet lied to me and said this never happened. When I pressed her further, letting her know that the vet assistant had told me, she backpedaled and claimed they had changed the line, but did not know how long it had been blocked. She was also only willing to put my cat on fluid for 3 days, after which time she wanted to euthanize her or send her home, telling me in the case of the latter she may starve to death. Every other vet I spoke to (there were a few as I was growing concerned about the care my animal was receiving here and planning to move my cat the next day), said the amount of time the cat should be on fluids would depend on the cat and there was no 3 day standard, which this vet claimed there was. When I confronted her about this, she said she had never said this; unfortunately she did and quite a few times, to both my husband and myself. There were many other issues as well that occurred, including that she refused to treat my cat's stomach acid (which there is medication for) and anemia, so that she would be able to eat. This is not a vet who should be allowed to practice. I'm convinced that had I taken my cat elsewhere, she would have had a fighting chance.
