More than half a century ago, when I was a terribly shy 8 years old I told my mom I was going to get a job. I was animal-crazy, even making my parents take me to the veterinary school at UC Davis. I decided our dog's vet, Dr. Roos, might give me a job so I walked down to Adobe and asked him. Instead of laughing, he put me to work. I got to clean the examination tables, watch operations, and even go on "horse calls", and I loved it. What a great great guy! We moved shortly after my "job" started, and I never followed up with Dr. Roos to tell him how much that time meant to me. Unfortunately, I went into the arts, but loved the time at Adobe with Dr. Roos. Thanks, Doc. Jane.
