I am not really satisfied when I bring my pet to Sesser Animal Hospital. I have taken my animals there plenty of times, only to find an absence of educating the client. In addition, their overall customer service is lacking with reception and assistants (ex. Lack of initiative, but not a lack of rude behaviors and smart talk).
If you see an owner with his/her hands full... Ask if you can assist in some way. Explain to the owner your diagnoses and do not leave them in the dark about what you want do you or what you are about to do (ex. Handing the a drug without explaining what it is or what it does, or performing a diagnostic test). If you see something that can be done quickly and is effortless(ex. Nicking a little cyst), just do it. - do we really have to make another appointment for something that takes less than 5minutes to do? Also, do not listen to an animals heart or other vital organ and say that it has gotten worst without explaining what exactly is getting worse (ex. A heart murmur?) Do I have to make another, separate, and equally money consuming appointment for that one too, Sesser Animal Hospital?
Unfortunately, the old ways have slipped out the door at this hospital. I do not feel my animals are receiving the best medical care, because the bridge between an animal and their vet is the owner. If you cannot establish a good bridge, you will not create loyal clients. You will only have clients that come because of your location.
