Linda Lytton is an appallingly unfit counselor. She was on a list of marriage counselors, chosen at random, and as Murphy's Law would have it, turned out to be a nightmarish experience. Lytton's initial intake seemed cordial and professional enough until the follow up session, in which she revealed a shocking level of hostility towards men, filled with stereotyping, shortsighted "analysis," and shocking rudeness. She actually yelled when expressing disagreement, which added insult to the injury of her complete lack of professionalism. It's almost as if she's in need of counseling for anger management. Another counselor in the Northern Virginia area was asked about Lytton's behavior and confirmed that another client had come to her in the aftermath of experiencing much abuse.
Lytton violates enough ethical guidelines to earn her a license revocation but for some unknown reason, continues to carry on her practice. Avoid her like the plague.
