It is well known in the community including attorneys and judges that she is aligned with preferred attorneys that have their clients hire her and provide false one-sided evaluations to judges that are used in civil court proceedings. Do not allow your children any interaction with this woman. She should be barred by the courts from submitting and opinion.

This therapist has been very professional; knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Each visit has lasted a full one hour and fees are the norm for our area. She is very concerned and compassionate about the problems we are dealing with and hopefully we can work through our situation with her. I feel very good about using her.

THIS WOMAN SHOUID BE IN JAIL , I would advise anyone that is in a serious custody battle to NOT go to Leigh Ann O’brien. In my situation the judge in Bossier parish decided to leave it up to her for our custody and other arrangements or go to trial. I was told I needed to pick someone , I had no clue who to pick . My attorney told me of a few he knew of and she was one he listed. I really didn’t know any of them so I ended up picking Leigh Ann O’brien. Long story short she turned everything I said around and twisted things on me in a very negative way , and some things I never even said. She allowed my ex more appointments with her than he was supposed to get and used anything they said or supposively printed out as the the truth. So much of that stuff could have been easily fabricated but she just took it as the truth with no real evidence to back any of it up. My son now Lives with his dad that waned him aborted and had nothing to do with him for amust 2 years! I work full time , never had any problems with the law, not on any drugs and they just took my child due to this woman’s opinion, wish I would have known about her.

My ex-husband and I were court ordered to be evaluated by Leigh Ann O'Brien. She left all of my information at her office and could not recall anything about our visit. She made up things and lied to favor my ex-husband.

Horrible! Dragged out our evaluation. Never even gave us all the sessions she told us we would have. Only met with kids 2 times during the process and only spent 15 minutes each time talking to them. After the evaluation, she only gave us a 2 page report that didn't even include half the problems and concerns that she was supposed to address. Had to file a subpoena to get a copy of her notes and found out she lied about what the kids had told her in their meetings. If anyone recommends you use her for your evaluation, REFUSE and ask for someone else. It became obvious that she is easily influenced by certain attorneys and she is extremely untrustworthy.

I would not recommend her to anyone. She made 3 different appts with me, confirmed by text but when I went to her office she didn't have me on the calendar. One of these appts was her first appt with my 7yr old. He was very nervous and she wasn't even at the office for the session. After dragging out her sessions for 6 months she submitted one report (after one 10 minute session with the minor child involved) then revised it later after talking to an outside source but that didn't provide any additional information. She changed her report completely in favor of the other party from her conversation with the source. Her testimony and reasoning didn't hold up in court. The judge didn't go with her recommendation.

. Their prices were not fair at all and are high considering the amount of time she spends on her clients.. i paid $250 for mayb 30 mins. of her time and another $400 for her to testify in court when she didnt even go but insisted i still pay her. They were extremely overpriced and I felt ripped off. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here bc there were animals while my appt. was in session. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. They didn't know what they were doing at all. She ruled one way in june 2012 and did a complete reversal in august 2012 without any explanation to way the change. I do not see how she has her license still bc shes clueless. it was a horrible experience that i wish upon noone. Stay away.
. They didn't seem like they wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say.
