I was overweight growing up and even after many types of diets there were still areas of fat that would not go away. That is why I finally decided to have the fat removed through Sonabello's treatment. The procedure went well with a mild amount of pain and discomfort. I am looking forward to see the results and really be happy with how I look.
The staff at the Bellevue office is very professional, informative and easy to work with. The walk you through the process before it occurs and answer any question you may have. What is most impressive is the follow up after the process. They really care about your health and well-being. Now for the really good part. You wind up looking and feeling GREAT!
All of the staff is amazing, professional and follow up is 5 star. They made a situation that was very personal and somewhat embarrassing, comfortable and put me at ease.
The overall experience was a positive one. The pre-op opportunity was comforting as it allowed me to engage with the doctor and nurse that would be performing my procedure, and to monitor my expectations on what im likely to experience as the long term result.
The procedure was easy and relatively painless, and the information I received (email and otherwise) gave great step by step protocols on how to ensure success.
If I had to critique anything, Id be my slightly different experience I had between the initial free consultation and the pre-op conversation I had with the doc. It could, of course, be consumer error, but I felt as though the results that Id experience would be far greater than what the doctor revealed during our consult. Initially I thought to myself, the exclusion of certain details was a strategy to ensure I signed up today, but after some self reflection, its possible that I simply didnt ask all the right questions. Im appreciative that the doctor made sure I was very clear that there are certain fats in the targeted areas (being operated on) that he would not be able to address and that Id have to take additional measures (exercise and diet...which is exactly what I was avoiding but having this surgery) to address that.
My wondering/suggestion: is there a way the consumer can get an A-Z presentation, possibly from the assigned doctor, possibly through a recorded video message, that could go a little more in depth about expectations, risks, procedural norms, after care, etc? A resource like this could support the patient identify the right questions to ask when meeting in person for the pre-op meeting.
The staff, nurses and doctor were all wonderful. Very personable and made me feel comfortable. They were very thorough in their explanations, expectations and process. I love the regular emails so I know whether where I'm at in my progress is normal.
The sonobello office was easy to find and everyone there were very easy to meet and work with. All questions were answered efficiently and to the point. The one on one communication allowed me to remain calm. The decision to take care of myself is a very new thing for me as my family has always come first. That is the reason I lost my attentiveness to my own body and health. I am owning this and so far I am very pleased.
