Clarissa is a very professional and experienced counselor. She is a good listener and caring professional. She gave me the tools and the confidence to cope with my anxiety and stress. She helped me find my value! Thanks to her I discovered how important and powerful is my inner strength and wisdom. During these few months that I worked with her I made great progresses. Now I am more confident and my self esteem is higher. My quality of life improved considerably and I am more happy.

Growing up in a culture where mental illness and anxiety is not a thing, I had troubles coming into terms that I was struggling and that I needed help. I did not know who to call or what to do. Upon hours of researching, I was getting hopeless. Until I stumbled upon Clarissa. Working with Clarissa is an experience that I will never forget. Her heartwarming, caring, and compassionate personality remains unmatched. She is also an extremely funny person with an incredibly comforting presence. Despite these lovable attributes that Clarissa radiates, my favorite part about her is her honesty. There have been angels in my life and I can confidently say that Clarissa Crystal-Belle is one of them.

Her job should be to help keep families United. She tore ours apart by only listening to one person and giving them all the control. Don’t go to her.

I went to Clarissa because of severe depression issues. Throughout the session were red flags that I shouldn't have ignored. For one, she body-shamed me in an unsolicited manner, saying, "You have a pretty face, but that isn't gonna cut it." She was also really judgmental about my husband's career choice (nonprofit work) because "it doesn't make much money", despite the fact that I never mentioned his salary, let alone complained about it. I felt almost as if I had to defend him. Clarissa also did most of the talking during our session, and I felt pressured to purchase her book. I walked away feeling used and confused.

I'm glad to say that I've been to Starpoint Counseling Center. When things get a little crazy, it's always good to know that there are caring professionals in your corner. Making an appointment is easy, and the sliding scale makes it affordable for just about anyone. I've recommended Starpoint to my friends and family as well.

My boyfriend and I have been seeing a counselor here for 4 months and our Counselor has helped save our relationship. My boyfriend proposed to me last Saturday, in our counseling session! I thought that was so fitting since we would not be getting married if we did not come here for counseling. Our counselor started to cry she was so happy for us. Sam has been very nice to us, one time he waived the cancellation fee for us when I was sick and couldn't make my appointment.

I met Clarissa and she seemed nice, but was not my counselor. This review relates to her business - Star Point Counseling. It took me months to finally decide to go to a counselor. I was scheduled with Lael Louty on Tuesday of this week and today (Thursday) I was informed that she is no longer treating patients in the Tampa office and that she will only be in Brandon- this was only two days after I poured out my life story to her. I was specifically asked what office I wanted when I scheduled the appointment. If she was not going to be working in the Tampa office, why did the owner Sam schedule me? Why did she let me tell her all the things I had to say without informing me she wouldn't be there? Why did they let me schedule a second appointment for the Tampa office.

When I told Sam I did not want to start from the beginning, he said "you only saw her once and we have the note here." Well that once was huge for me. I told that person everything about me. I exposed pieces of me that I don't talk about. A few notes does not convey the feeling I expressed. It should never have been assumed that I would be comfortable just being reassigned because I only had one visit.

I have trust issues as it is. So this is a complete reminder of why it is hard to trust. Blatant lies from someone who is supposed to help me. I am breaking to pieces right now. And once again I am alone.

I was seen there by one of their therapists and they helped me and my family a great deal, we are all getting along a lot better now. The office staff was very nice, helpful, considerate and they returned my call right away. The office was easy to find, there is a big sign out front.
