I am so happy with my choice! I have gone to a couple of places with my child and no one was able to address his issues the way Ms.Samuels did. Friendly, helpful and companionate she was there to address all my concerns. I had gone to a developmental pediatrician who confirmed all my suspicions and concurred the same findings as Ms.Samuels did. I was constantly involved in my child's progress as I have watched every session in a double sided mirror, by the way this is the only clinic/ center that is equipped with such a miracle. I have witnessed every detail of her methods and was able to be a more productive educator for him at home. The stuff is so accommodating. My child's schedule was always their priority! I would highly recommend this clinic to every family.

My child had a cleft lip and palate repair, and after the reconstructive surgery and months of recovering we found "Little Steps"! Hurray hurray they specialize in these issues. They really know what they are doig! The office is set up in a unique double sided mirror setting so you see what your child is doing with the therapist! that iwas awesome! we had every question and concern addressed immidiately. We had a set up regimented schedule. Therapist assigned to our case was extreamely knoweledgable! Thanks to Adelina, his current therapist, my child is eating without volmiting, or loosing liquids through the nose and YES speaking in full sentences! I am greatfull to the staff and Adelina. They really made a difference.

TINA is awesome! We just started in July 2014. She is key in providing my son with speech therapy and showing me how to implement her strategies and techniques at home.
She is very patient and sweet and has a great team that can help any child excel.
Tina has made a great impact on my son's future and I can't thank Tina enough. Adelina is awesome as well. My son doesn't have her as his speech therapist but she is always there to listen and give me advice. Rachel the receptionist is so friendly! You never walk in feeling uncomfortable. Would highly recommend. We love little steps and can't thank them enough!

I read the other reviews listed and was compelled to write my own review. I have had such a positive experience at Little Steps Speech with my two daughters working with Ms. Adelina Samuels and her staff. Both my daughters are on varying ends of the autistic spectrum with varying degrees of impairment with respect to their expressive and receptive language skills, and articulation challenges. Working with Adelina my daughters have demonstrated tremendous gains and development, far surpassing any achievement reached as a result of services they receive in school. The therapeutic experiences Adelina provides are rigorous, engaging, and designed to reach specific speech and language goals. She is sensitive to the needs my girls and appropriately pushes them to meet her high expectations. Being the mother of two special needs children is not easy, however, because of the voice Adelina has given my daughters by teaching them to speak and process language better my job has become easier. They are able to communicate, are less frustrated, and have been able to excel in the mainstream school setting as a result. For my family, Adelina and her staff have been a blessing. I highly recommend her practice to the parent who is serious about meeting the needs of their child.

Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

I would not go to the office if it was the last speech therapy place left in NJ! My daughter who had significant feeding issues went for an initial evaluation and one office visit. They were very concerned about the insurance and received all the paperwork before seeing us. Ms. Suris (or Samuels as she calls herself now) promised the world to us, she told us how she will definitely help my daughter to learn to eat. After the initial eval we were scheduled to see her again, but she forgot and did not notify us. I ended up leaving a message, she called back and rescheduled. During the last visit after my daughter cried, kicked and spit at her because she did not want to eat Ms. Suris (aka Samuels) told us that we need to see a shrink and gave us a card). My daughter was only 2 years old at that time!!! My daughter had significant oral motor issues and low tone and did not know how to chew (hence the food refusal). I was lucky enough to find a REAL feeding therapist, not someone who claims to know everything and delivers nothing.
Everything Ms. Suris originally told me she would be able to do was a lie. She ended up not being able to do anything. I felt that all they were after is the $$$ they received for an initial eval. She does not have the expertise to deal with young kids, I would urge anyone who cares about their child to look elsewhere for help.
