Going to Chiro One was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. They are a shady business, who will lie to you, deceive you, and scam you out of money. I'd be shocked if they didn't have a bunch of lawsuits against them already.

I started going in my sophomore year of college. After having suffered back and neck pain for so many years, I naively believed them when they told me they could help me.

They recruit their victims through various means, and when I fell for their trap, it was at the University of Chicago. The representative was a very attractive young female - something I bet they do on purpose.

After taking their initial bait (by the way, EVERYONE is sick according to them and EVERYONE has something wrong with them that can be magically cured by their "treatments"), I fell for their trap. "Dr." Bridget Monoghan kept massaging my ego by telling me how "smart" I was for choosing treatment (when in fact it was the stupidest thing I've ever done). I loyally, faithfully went 2-3 times a week for half a year, through the brutal Chicago winters from my campus.

The "treatment" consists of you doing four exercises on their outdated physical therapy toys (by the way, they charge you for FOUR physical therapy sessions each time you go, just because you used one of their little toys. This they don't even tell you about it but charge you for it anyway, and believe me, it's a lot). Then, you spend about less than 2 minutes with the "doctor" who cracks your neck and spine in the same way she does for everyone else.

I had an uneasy feeling about this place when I signed up, and why I didn't listen to my gut instinct I'll never know. "Dr." Bridget is very fake, and lied through her teeth to me. She said she'd waive the bulk of the fees for treatment because I was a student, and I naively believed her. The treatment over the course of a few months ended up costing around $28, 000. Charged straight to my insurance, so my insurance rates skyrocketed, and I had to pay the rest out of pocket. Worse, there was literally NO IMPROVEMENT in my condition. In fact, my neck is worse than ever.

Would give zero stars if I could. In fact, I wouldn't even call this scam of theirs a business. I would more refer to it as a criminal organization.

If I had the energy and if I had superior legal power I would probably file a lawsuit against them.

I went to some more legitimate hospitals and clinics who have all informed me that they too know that Chiro One is a scam.

Please, please, PLEASE don't go there.

I've been going about 6 weeks now, and love it! Dr. Bridget is a positive force of nature, and creates an energetic, positive and fun environment. The staff is great: supportive, encouraging, engaging. I didn't even know I had a cervical problem before,
only lower back. Now my migraine headaches are greatly reduced, and today I got up without leg pain for the first time in well over a year.
