I have worked with Dr. Gifford for around 9 months to treat my severe Cerebral Ataxia. I was within an inch of being wheelchair-bound. Since seeing Dr.Gifford I have improved to a point that I can get around with the use of a cane. Am I perfect? No! But I can drive my pickup most days and I am 10 times more mobile now. He has an unconventional approach that seems so simplistic to believe. He genuinely wants to see you improve. I never feel that I am just a patient when I walk in the door. Thank you, Dr. Gifford. Dr Gifford is an amazing chiropractor, i see him every time i get a migraine as it is the ONLY way to get relief from the pain and it is gone within MINUTES. Since i started seeing him the number of migraine occurrences i get have significantly been reduced from 6 per month down to 1-2. I HIGHLY recommend him !

I visited Dr. Gifford on one occasion in August of 2011. The visit was so uncomfortable I never went back. At the time he was a single doctor in a one room office, with no staff. He focused primarily on questions related to my memory for a doctorate study he was conduction. No x-rays were taken; one adjustment treatment was delivered after 45 minutes of answering memory questions. At the time of the appointment, Dr. Gifford was considered a provider under my insurance policy. He collected my $30 co-pay and informed me he would bill my insurance company for the rest.
In November 2012, I received a notice from a collection agency for an outstanding balance of $380. Dr. Gifford made no attempt to contact me at any time. He never sent out a statement informing me of a balance due. I didn’t receive notification from my insurance company that the claim was rejected. My insurance company doesn’t appear to have any record of a claim being filed; although I have a copy of the cancelled check.

Dr. Gifford is very unprofessional in his bedside manner and his business practices. It is bad business practice to refer claims to a collection agency, smearing my credit rating without any attempt to notify me and collect the debt. Fifteen months is too long to now file a claim.

This doctor is only interested in money. This doctor advertised a special program at "no cost to you" as part of his doctoral research program. I participated in late 2009 and early 2010. My insurance paid its standard rate for chiropractic services. I never received a bill after that, but in November 2012, I got a letter from a collection agency saying my account with "Dr. Gerald Kevin Gifford has been assigned for collection", and saying I owe ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
