I was so glad to read ROLANDS review because it described my own experience exactly. Dr. Okin took a spinal xray and said it showed curvature and deterioration, and that I needed weekly appointments to avoid long term problems. I was in pain and kept going for years (stupidly)...though there was no relief. I even referred a friend from work and guess what? Their spine xray showed curvature and deterioration. Then one day I yelped at an unexpected neck adjustment and Dr. Okin started screaming. He was red faced & furious and I felt totally threatened. I asked him why he was shouting and asked him to calm down - which made him madder. I got out of there and never went back.

Apparently shows everyone their xray and says they need treatment to prevent 'deterioration'. I met some people in the waiting room that had been coming for years. Never help my back pain, but a subsequent MD orthopedist really did - with one adjustment. But the real reason I left was a display of temper during my last appointment. He freaked out and starting yelling at me after I reacted to a sudden move. Then he yelled at his staff. Totally psycho! Avoid!
