I have never met a better DC than Dr. Manchin. Since he moved away from the Westside I have not been without a constant nagging pain. He seems to be the only one who knew the adjustment my foot and ankle required to get properly aligned. We miss him terribly.

I have chronic back pain as a result of twice rupturing a lumbar and a sacral disc. After two surgeries, more than a dozen epidruals and countless (good) acupuncture sessions, my Board-certified pain management doctor suggested chiropractic care. I told my doctor that I felt chiropractic care was a dicey situation, especially given my condition (and I'm only in my 40s.)..."only," lol.

Anyway, my pain management doctor said, "well, go see Tim Manchin, because he really knows what he's doing."

As it turns out, my doctor was right. Dr. Manchin conducted a detail examination of my back, and asked LOTS of questions about the related medical history. In other words, he took the time to THINK before adjusting. I know that this sounds elementary, but given my general concern about chiro, it did allay some of my concerns.

Fast-forward to September 2012, and I'm writing this review to tell you that Dr. Manchin is a total professional who delivers CONSISTENTLY helpful, thoughtful adjustments. In all truthfulness, when I leave his office, I am always somewhat better (depending on my condition going on), and often a LOT better.

I don't mean to oversimplify what chiropractic care is, because it's obviously complex, but as the patient, it feels a lot like cracking one's knuckles...except that the stakes are higher. But THIS is why you want to not choose a chiropractor out of the phone book. My back has been through a lot in the past several years, but I am telling you first-hand, that Dr. Manchin knows what he's doing.

As an after-thought, he's also a heck of a decent guy, and I gather that he will put your concerns at-ease, as well. Good luck, and happy cracking.

They really paid a lot of attention to my problem area, which is the reason I went. When I told them where I was in pain they put much of their focus on eliminating discomfort in that area. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. The equipment they used during my adjustment was very advanced and sophisticated. It made me much more comfortable knowing that I was getting the most safe, current treatment. At some of the other places I've been to, the chiropractor had super cold hands, so I was a little nervous I would have to deal with that here, but I didn't at all. I was more comfortable than I've ever been anywhere else. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They went above and beyond what they told me they could do for me. I never expected them to be able to help me as much as they did. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They had a huge selection of magazines in the waiting room. I was able to find some of my favorites and they kept me entertained while I was waiting for my appointment. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left.
