Dr. Otter's pricing is on the low side. She and her staff are very skilled at working out insurance and payment plans. She is an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They are always prepared for my appointment. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. I know I can always count on them. They really paid a lot of attention to my problem area, which is the reason I went. When I told them where I was in pain they put much of their focus on eliminating discomfort in that area. In addition, I have learned alot about my body and how it works from Dr. Otter over the years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaye Otter since 2010 when I sought relief for chronic back and neck pain, resulting in an overall irritable disposition. Dr. Otter quickly indicated which organs were related to these issues, and began a holistic treatment plan that was effective in not only relieving the pain and discomfort (which I had become resolved that I just had to live with), but also changed the disagreeable disposition for the better. During that time I was financially challenged, and Dr. Otter was willing to work out treatments to fit my budget.

A year ago last May, I was in a catastrophic car accident, and suffered injury to my neck and entire spinal region. As a dance instructor, I knew that I did not want to sustain any invasive procedures to my spine. Dr. Otter put me on a comprehensive treatment program that included adjustments, followed by neuro-electric therapy and selected exercises for strengthening. I particularly appreciated the gentle drop relief table approach Dr. Otter used in making adjustments, as well as trigger point therapy. One year later I feel as though I have thoroughly healed from the trauma and injury, and only missed one dance instruction class during the entire year of treatment.

I would not recommend Dr Otter to anyone. Dr Otter seems like a perfectly competent chiropractor but she's far more focused on selling you on her services than fixing your problems.

I won $300 worth of "services" at the health expo and came in to take advantage of it. It turns out the $300 can only be used for consultation services, not actual adjustments. After 2 visits, each time expecting to get adjusted and instead just having her talk to me about the importance of chiropractic and telling me how great she is, I had used up my $300 and then paid for my next 2 adjustments.

She's 3 times as expensive as the chiropractor I had been going to and uses a hydraulic table that lifts and drops you while she pushes on you. To be honest I'm not sure if anything was ever adjusted at all. I couldn't feel anything move. She told me several times how she's focused on fitting within patients budgets to allow them to get care but all she's actually willing to do to fit within your budget is allow you to come less frequently. She also starts each appointment by handing you a flyer which essentially just sells you on more services. I lost count of how many times she took calls during my appointments. She has a receptionist so I can't imagine why she would take calls during appointments.

All around I was very disappointed by Dr Otter and won't be going back.

I have been going to Dr. Otter since an acute back pain flare up in Sept of 2012. I had been on crutches upon going to her office as has happened previously. Prior to starting to see Dr. Otter when I had these flare ups it would take several months even under another chiropractor's care to see enough relief to not to have to use crutches. The treatments that I received had be off crutches within days and back to an almost normal pain level for the first time in years. She works with you to ensure that what needs to be taken care of is taken care of and fixed. She offers free classes as well to help you with continued recovery and health as well. I am very pleased with this Doctor! Sometimes (rarely) you have to have patience as she works with others a bit over scheduled times BUT she will also work with you over the scheduled time if it is needed. I find this a perfectly reasonable trade-off :)

Terrible experience and customer service! I was offered a free massage at the Powderhorn Park Art Fair and scheduled the massage for the following week while still at the park. It turned out that I needed to reschedule, which I was able to do without a problem and was understandably told that I was only eligible to schedule once since the service was free. I was called the next week at 8:30pm to schedule the appointment. When I let Dr. Kaye know that I already had an appointment, I was again told that I could only reschedule once (even though the current appointment was a reschedule). I was the only one in the waiting room when I arrived at the appointment early, as requested, to fill out necessary paperwork. The appointment was at 3:40pm, after I arrived 3 other clients came in and were seen before me. At 4:05pm I was still waiting to see Dr. Kaye. I was given no indication when I was going to be seen. I had driven out from Minneapolis in rush hour traffic, was early to my appointment and waited 25+ minutes while others were attended. I didn't feel that even with the free offering, I was provided adequate customer service. When I let her know I was dissatisfied I was told that I could leave. So, I left. I will not be going back.
