Jim has helped my son so much with his behavior, aggression, helping around the house and frustration with other kids. Jim has helped my son control and deal with his anger in a healthy way instead of acting out aggressively.

I knew Jimmy on a personal level from years back, so when I started having issues with my 10 yr old son, it knew immediately who we needed. Making an appointment with Jimmy is by far the best parenting decision I have ever made. The level of comfort we both felt with him is key to our success. Jimmy has a great way connecting my son and it made my heart so happy to know that my son trusts him. He helped us so much with our relationship and showed us the things to do differently, he gave both of us the confidence to want to be better, and he believed in us enough that we both became better.... I intially made the app for my son, but eventually I started going alone... the comfort and the support I felt with Jimmy opened up a realm of other issues I had ignored for years, and those are getting better as well. I know in my heart that I wouldn’t have experienced my breakthrough if I wouldn’t seen someone else, I wasn’t going for me and he ended up helping me more than I ever knew I needed. He gave us the confidence to be the people we want to be, and for that I will forever be grateful. He knows how important he is to us, and I hope that we can make him proud in our journey together. Just seeing him makes us happy, he is a great counselor and a wonderful person. Do yourself a favor and let him help you.

Strong!! This is a word I would have never used to describe myself until now . I have struggled for over 20 years with depression. Jim was able to provide me with the skills I needed to take control of my life and my constant insecurities. Highly recommended!! Thank you Jim:)

I found Mr. Fiesta to be highly skilled in helping me with a depression. He is personable and easy to speak with. He worked with me on reachable goals and reinforced success. I have been suffering with chronic depression for years and this is the first time I truly feel in better control.

My family has been truly blessed to have found Jim Fiesta. We have been bringing our children to see Jim for some time now. He's made a difference in their lives, as well as ours. He has been there through thick and thin. He's always there for our children when they need help through a situation. When we've had emergency problems, he makes the time to be there. Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the help you have given us. THANK YOU!!!

Avoid. He lost all objectivity and broke my trust. This therapist had some good initial insights, in the short term, then later proved to be a "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing," further traumatizing me on matters I had confided in him privately, for months. I had been trusting "the enemy" with some very serious fears, only for him to "tear off his mask" and become like previous abusers. The experience left our family in the lurch.

My 12-year-old daughter began to have life-altering anxiety which left myself and my husband feeling helpless. At the recommendation of my social worker friend, I researched options for counseling and made her an appointment with Jim. My daughter had begun to struggle with fears of illness and death and fears of our wellness and health. She changed from the always happy, optimistic child into one who was wrought with worry and who would not leave my side. I am happy to report that after a mere 14 sessions with Jim, she is feeling better than even her previous baseline. She had always been a worrier, but we had said (my daughter, husband and I) that we want her back to her baseline. Jim asked a great question, "Why?" and explained we want her BETTER than her baseline if that was involving anxiety, he said we want "wellness." Jim applied the Cognitive Behavioral Approach and my daughter worked very hard. I am so proud of her and the fact that she is again herself... she is actually better than before anxiety took control of her life. She is now able to process her worrying thoughts and rate them and do with them what she should in order to be in charge of her life and wellness. If you feel therapy is "embarrassing" or is not for you, please believe me when I tell you that we are very "normal" people, working in healthcare fields and actively engaged in our community. My daughter has always been a straight A student and involved in many extracurricular activities. There is no shame in seeking help. I do not regret for one moment taking her to therapy, it has changed her life for the better! I would recommend Jim without any hesitation and with stellar commendations! He did an excellent job with a teenage girl, making her feel comfortable to open up and trust him and herself with this process. I am forever indebted to Jim for giving my daughter back to us. Thank you, Jim!

I myself have seen Jim for years. Counseling never worked for me, I seen so many different counselors & hated it.. before I was referred to riverstone counseling.. I was at rock bottom I had lost my daughter in 2008 & with the rest of my problems I turned to drugs hit rock bottom & was in a horrible place in my life. I started Jim's it took me along time to trust someone to open up to but once I did I turned my life around but with out Jim I would have never had the strength or confidence or out look on myself to do a complete 360 & now I look back like its a hole different life time or like watching a movie. I still see Jim every month & actually look forward to going to my appointments. I have referred people to him & still do. Thank you Jim & jess & steph for not making me feel weird or judged. If your looking for counseling & other counselors haven't helped give one more a try I would refer take one more chance counseling helps you just need the right counselor that you can trust & not be judged for why you need counseling..
Give it a try I did & it changed my life for the best..

My daughter has been a client of Jim's in the recent past. (I was sometimes in sessions with her.) Melissa has had great success working through some very difficult past and present issues w/ Jim's guidance. He is very intelligent and personable, and she made great strides overcoming some ongoing problems. We feel he would be very helpful w/ any age, sex,ethnicity, etc. (I learned a lot too! ) Jim will make you feel comfortable talking to him, even when the going is tough. He is really capable!!

I have been seeing jim for the last few months and let me tell you he is very professional and also very caring I could call him anytime day or night and I'll guarantee you he would help with anything I need, his office staff is also very friendly it is actually the best counselor of ever been to, I can't say enough good about him and his staff and I appreciate everything they've done for me.
