I went in, because I was in pain. After almost 4 hours of my time and two visits, I was still in pain. I never received an adjustment. I got xrays and other tests, and watched videos on spine health...all in preparation of setting me up for the big finale. After all was said and done...they gave me a treatment plan that was going to cost me $3000.00 after insurance! No problem...we can set up payments for you, they assured me. I am extremely disappointed and was warned by my co workers not to go, but I didn't listen. Lesson learned. Never again.

Beware of this particular chiropractic office! Fact: If they can't KEEP their hands DEEP in your pockets, they will flat out tell you that they don't want your money at all. Oh yes indeed. We had been clients of theirs for two years and committed to 2-3x PER WEEK, then began going less each month (glad to see results) but didn't have the money to continue to go to too many adjustments per month. Once we told them we could only afford to go 1x per month (every month), Dr. Erica told us to go elsewhere. Even after all the money they had already received from us (thousands actually). Not good enough for them though! To be perfectly blunt, they wanted a minimum of $80+ each month (at the time of writing this = approx. 2 adjustments per month) or sorry they won’t want your money at all. Wow, I can't think of a place on earth that would deny money to pay for services and even after being a long time client. I mean unless you had some kind of personal issues or conflicts with the staff, I could understand that possibly happening. But we did not have any attitude issues with the staff there. In fact, we thought our relationship was perfectly fine. An extended family (ha)! At least that’s how they try to make you feel as they make sure they’re hooked into your bank account. Bottom line, if you can't commit to giving them $$$$ mucho dinero, then don't waste your time or money at all with this place. Go somewhere else where you can actually build a long time client relationship (as I’m pretty sure that is main the purpose of receiving these types of treatments to begin with). Awakening Chiropractic will gladly take your money as long as it meets their standard of a wealthy client and WILL kick you to the curb if you need to pull back financially. You’ll never get their hands out of your pockets if you do go here! And if you manage that incredible effort, it means you’ve been given the, oh so sweet *smile* *barf*, you’ve been rejected talk due to the fact that they simply can't meet their quota with you. The nerve of this place! What goes around comes around Awakening Chiropractic....you might want to yoga stretch your thoughts on that one.

During my three visits to Awakening Chiropractic, they completely ignored the fact that I was experiencing pain, which is the whole reason I went there. They just tried to sell me on a long term care that would last over a year and a half and never once addressed the issues my daughter (they claim to be pediatric chiropractors; the entire reason I went to them) and I have. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had known how terrible they were I never would have gone. Every time I came in for an appointment, (3 times and still never received an adjustment just a drawn out sales pitch) I had to remind them who I was and what my circumstances are. They have a different chiropractic philosophy than I agree with. I discussed with Dr. Stogniew at my very first appointment that I didn't want any mechanical tools used in my or my daughters adjustment. I was assured that they use a "hands on approach to chiropractic care" then came back for what I thought would be an adjustment. I was told they need x-rays; I agreed for the safety of my daughter, because obviously, I thought, they wanted to be thorough. Only to find at that x-ray appointment was only for x-rays and two other hokey medical tests that were not necessary but I was billed for...and an adjustment was never done or even offered that day. We were instructed to come back the very next day...and never told of this visit ahead of time. We were instructed to take the morning off of work as well as my daughter out of school and my spouse should come as well as my PARENTS!! A complete disregard for my time, my husbands time as well as my daughters education... This didn't happen. I and I alone returned the next day only to find that I and two others were subjected to a half hour long "education" on spines, nerves and spine health and then given the dollar amount it would cost "IF accepted as a patient". Over $2,000.00!! and countless visits! All while being watched by what I can only assume as their security guard, because they could tell by my not bringing back yet another group of paperwork and other information they needed to this "physicians findings meeting", they knew I was not impressed.
This "doctor" then proceeded to go over my "findings" and that is when I found out that the only adjustments they do there are with machines like the falling table and the activator (bullet type machine used to slam into the vertibrae) if you don't want those they can put blocks under different portions of your body...I could do that at home!!
This office and its "doctors" are frauds and couldn't care less about helping people. They just want your money and all they can get of it.
I would give them negative stars.
