When we moved to New Lenox we travelled almost an hour to get to our usual dentist. When that turned into us not going often enough because of the distance, it was time to look for a new one. Dr. Pal was the first name that popped up on my insurance list. Honestly, I almost avoided him because of that (I don't know... some strang thing I think we all have about how we pick names - kind of like how we'd pick horses when we don't know anything about horseracing?). I made a few calls, including his office, and scheduled with him starting with my daughter. The biggest reason for this? His receptionist is outstanding. It's too bad all medical offices don't realize the people answering that phone make the first impression. Mandy was great - incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. When we went for the appointment we walked into a beautiful office, and I kind of thought maybe we were going be paying for the office through his fees (our orthodontist did this a few years ago), but were gladly surprised his rates are very competitive.... in fact, alot of people told me he was less than their dentists. Combined, my family has been to his office seven times in the last month or two trying to play catch up on what was our own stupidity by not going to the dentist often enough. EVERY TIME has been a pleasure. Pricing is explained thoroughly, equipment is top notch state-of-the art, staff is outstanding and knowledgable and Dr. Pal himself is incredible. He's friendly, gentle with the tools and explains everything. I don't have little ones anymore... but he would be very good with young children. So, to sum it up:

1. Wonderful customer service
2. Knowledgable staff
3. Competitive pricing
4. Beautiful office - and EVERYTHING IS CLEAN
5. State-of-the-art equipment (doesn't cheap out to save himself some money.... it's nice to know we're getting the best x-rays)
6. Dr. Pal's personality is one that anyone of any age would be comfortable with
7. On time (even though sometimes we're not :) )
8. Does not push to have extra services done... in fact, my daughter was scheduled for a root canal and they ended up not having to do it
9. Convenient appointment times
10. Follow-up calls to make sure things went well when you left.

We came across him because we wanted someone close to home. After being there I have to say that's just another added perk. I would make a much longer drive to use his services. If you're from New Lenox take advantage of having such a wonderful practice so close to home and visit Lifetime Dental. If you're not, make the drive to get service and attention that you're probably not used to!

Dr. Aroon Pal is excellent. I had to find a new dentist closer to where I live in New lenox, Il. I tried Dr. Pal who's located in the new Silver Cross Hospital complex.
I was very happy with his work and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone.
