I really like Dr Hammond but did not like being seen by Dr Crump, she was rude and patronizing. She was not familiar with my case. After having cataract surgery, and getting a multi focal lens in one eye, I had issues with my sight. She insisted I jus5 got the surgery to get rid of the cataracts but did not consider the multifocal lens and her solution was a RX for glasses instead of focusing on my specific issue. I did the surgery and get multifocal lens so I did not have to wear glasses but she did not want to listen to me. She also inserted tear duct plugs for my dry eyes and did not tell me there was a charge for it. After seeing her, I saw Dr Hammond and he said the plugs had fallen out so he inserted new ones. When I went back to see Crump, she said the original plugs would no5 have fallen out and Hammond put plugs in on top of her plugs. My vision got worse after cataract surgery. Dr Hammond said the lenses moved so he did lasik surgery. I wish he would have told me how painful it was going to be. After this surgery, my vision got even worse. He told me there is still healing and swelling to be reduced and be patient. I am very concerned.
The OD doctor was very rude!!! He explained something to me and I did not under stand. I just needed more info. He was very rude and asked me if I had someone with me that he could explain to. That was very insulting along with other comments. Doctor Hammon is great along with your staff.
I have always been very pleased with the doctors and clinical staff. After having seen three different doctors since starting my care at your facility, I am most comfortable with Dr.Herion.He is never too busy to answer my questions and provide clear direction for my ongoing care. The only 'bump' in my satisfaction, comes from the sometimes confused assistance at the front desk. At my last visit a very nice, but confused, lady tried three times to overcharge me on my copay, while I had provided her with the card and reminded her each time to look at the card to see the correct amount due. We were both a little exasperated. She still printed a receipt for the wrong amount and then manually crossed it out...hope that all works out!. Incidentally, my husband was also overcharged on his copay, the week before. When he called, the solution was to wait for the billing explanation, present it to them and they would then make a credit to our account. A lot of needless 'busy work' for all concerned, when a little more attention-to-detail, could have solved the whole snafu. There you have it.
