While receiving PT for a partially torn Achilles tendon, Dr. Matt had me walk on my toes for the first time after just over 3 weeks of treatment. My first step caused my tendon to rupture. In my opinion obvious mistakes were made. Surgery was needed, requiring me to be off this foot for 2 months. I'm now having PT at another facility. It's amazing the difference between the two. In my opinion, FF is bare bones compared to where I'm now going in several key aspects. 1. There is no comparison w.r.t. equipment. The new place has whirlpool therapy, anti-gravity treadmill, dynamic compression boots, and much more beyond that of FF. 2. More importantly, they have 5 full time DPTs that specialize in various parts of the anatomy, even ones for geriatric, oncology rehab, and neurological patients. This compared to 3 PTs, only one of which is a DPT, at FF.
All the staff at FF seem very nice and friendly, as are those where I'm currently going.
