On Jan 22, 2016 - I fell in snow and ice during the blizzard of the century. I had fallen on my knee in such a way, that I knew it was hurt quite badly. My knee kept "buckling" out from underneath me, and instanteoulsy I was on the floor. So, during this snow storm, we couldn't get out of our neighborhood. I had to wait it out. In the meantime, never needing an orthopedic doctor before, I got on line to read some reviews. Upon reading numerous excellent reviews about Dr. Biddulph of Orthopedic Clinic of Central Virginia, I was quite impressed. During that snowy Saturday in January, I called Dr. Biddulph's office. I was told he'd call me back - and sure enough, he called me back promptly. He seemed very concerned, he instructed me what to do, and I've been under his care since then. Imagine, a doctor I had never met before, returned my call during a snow storm?
Now it is April 4, 2016 and I've been under Dr. Biddulph's care since that snowy day in January. An MRI showed that my knee had a torn ACL - and to "muddy the waters", a possible torn MCL. About 2 weeks ago, Dr. Biddulph performed surgery to replace my torn ACL. He did a great job, and my knee is recovering very well.
All I can say about Dr. Biddulph and his staff...are good things. His assitant has been amazingly efficient about paperwork required for me to get short term disability. The office personnel are caring, smart and always helpful. Dr. Biddulph's staff is a reflection of all the things I've found Dr. Biddulph to be.
Dr. Biddulph is a caring surgeon. He takes the time required with each and every patient to assure the best care and course of action for proper healing. He is extremely competent and consciencious. I've never been as impressed with a doctor, as I've been with Dr. Biddulph.
