I took my dog there for what appearred to be a UTI. When the Dr. examined her she told me that she has to run all kinds of tests to be sure of how extensive the infection might be. She returned 20 minutes later and said she was unable to get a urine sample but took two x-rays that were not conclusive and the swab sample she took was full of bacteria. So...basically nothing new for the $130 worth of tests. But then she said that I my dog needs surgery and it needs to happen tomorrow morning! She then followed that up with, "I drew up an estimate and it will be between $700 to $900". I was alarmed. I requested a antibiotic and suggested that we see if my dogs condition clears up and if not then I would be willing to consider a more invasive procedure. Within with a day and a half my dogs symptoms have significantly improved. I will be requesting another vet if I remain at the clinic, I may be going to somewhere else completely.
