I love Dr. Pfeiffer. I wish he'd been around for my older children. While it seemed I'd have a large baby, Dr. P did not cause any panic or suggest I'd need an unnecessary c-section (while a Tulsa ultrasound doc was pushing for one.) Due to severe scoliosis & weight gain of larger baby, my ribs would pop out 1-2x a month and he would pop them back in for me each visit. When my 9lb baby was delivered vaginally, becoming lodged at head then shoulders, Dr. P manually manipulated cervix and baby, without any episiotomy, forceps, or suction, let alone needed a c-section. He is by far the best obgyn I've ever experienced.

This is my first pregnancy and am extremely happy and grateful for Dr. Pfeiffer. He is very professional but very personable at the same time. He is a down to earth guy and will sit and talk with you after he's done examining you before just leaving the room. He makes me feel comfortable and is extremely caring. He isn't induce or c section happy either, in fact just the opposite. He looks out for the best needs of his patients and actually tried to prevent from having to do a c section. At 39 weeks, I was not dilating nor could he fill the baby's head. He made sure and did an ultrasound to make sure the baby was not breach, thankfully not. He initially was going to induce that following Monday but given the circumstances decided against it because there would be a 50 percent chance of having to do a c section. Even with the baby being on the larger side, he did not want to put me in that situation if he knew I go a little longer. I'm now a little past 40 weeks by a day and things are looking much brighter, there's a 50 percent chance he will come this weekend on his own and if not I will be induced Monday. I'm grateful Dr. Pfeiffer examines everything before coming to a decision. Even when i have become worried or scared he assures me to let him take that on and for me to relax, he is extremely compassionate and you can tell he truly cares. I also have colitis in which he has been very knowledgeable and considerate of that as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for ob.
