Our experience with Adagio was so poor we ended up moving our loved one out. The food is atrocious- mostly canned foods. The care is minimal, staff leave the facility, take naps, sit on their phones and bring their children with them to work. The facility was dirty and very little to no oversite or accountability. This facility should not be housing anyone.
I wish we had seen the review by RSTEPHENS before putting our loved one at Adagio. Communication and attentiveness were totally lacking and we ended up moving the patient to another facility. Don't do it.
My mom lived at Adagio for the last year of her life. The experience was very positive until ownership of the facility changed in October of 2020. The new owners were not responsive to her needs or our requests as her family. Communication and pain management were huge problems. There was an enormous lack of sensitivity and understanding at a challenging time for my mom and our family. Don't put yourself or your loved one through this.
Adagio Manor Assisted Living is wonderful! They provide full 24 hour care for mom in a small homelike environment with a low number of clients to their staff. This is all for a fixed price, so no surprises! And Adagio Manor Assisted Living is located just five minutes from Minneapolis. Mom loves their care and so do we. Check them out, you'll be glad that you did!
