If you need dentures, STAY AWAY. After I got my dentures almost approx. $6,000 with extrations, etc., Could not get an apt if my life depended on it. Had to go to another dentist, told my whole lower gums were ulcerated and I had thrush on top. I had to call ins. co. to get an apt. Was put on 3 way call, Dr. Mai lied, said he'd cancel morn. apts. just for me. NOT, when I got there he threatened me with the police to GET OUT NO ONE CALLS INS CO on him. I was devastated, never spoke up never told him I had to pay another dentist what he was paid for, he let his igo take over his professionalism. I tried to reason with him, thinking of every compliment I could pay this man, pls. just loosen the ring, my gum was so swollen you could only see the tip of the top of my tooth. He was not budging. I had my friend come w/ me said she'd tape session, somehow it got turned off or I'd be playing the tape on the news. Never went thru anything like this, never ever even had an argument w/ a dr., dentist, was told many times that was my problem. He thought because of my health there was nothing I could do. He was right. I am out, $6,000, for no reason than he overbooked that morn., and was an easy mark. DON"T BE HIS NEXT MARK. Hope this saves someone else the pain and suffering Dr. Mai put me thru.
