I am a California workers' compensation attorney. Dr. Nava denied my brain injured, neck damaged client trigger point injections WITHOUT EVEN SEEING HER! Apparently he did not review the records which demonstrated that past cervical trigger point injections had reduced her pain and increased her mobility and ability to perform Activities of Daily Living. His denial demonstrates a certain lack of empathy, or perhaps a lack of professional care for failing to review the records demonstrating she had been receiving cervical trigger point injections with success as early as 2012.
