Rowena Murthy-Mascarenhas (RMM) made too many mistakes that she never apologized for.
On 1/22/2021,
(1) Advice to reduce intake of 1 of 2 high blood pressure drugs by half did not get recorded in the after-visit summary. I had to cut the pill by half because “there was no half dosage of the drug.” She was dead wrong.
(2) She did not specify Dr. C as the referred ophthalmologist even though she asked me if I had told Dr. C about my after-surgery problems.
On 4/22/2021,
(1) RMM’s advice to change how I take Diltiazem was never discussed before, during nor after the visit, but got sneaked in on the after-visit summary.
(2) If the “how” was to cut the drug by hand, Diltiazem in capsule cannot be cut in half without spilling the contents all over the place.
(3) Dr. Maria Govorkova’s name, instead of Dr. C’s, appeared as the referred ophthalmologist.
It’s now August 2022, RMM refused to authorize 2 of my 3 prescription drugs in July 2022 unless I made an appointment with her.
