Pompous, condescending, inconsiderate, uncaring, and quick to judgment based on information he did not have and ignoring information he was told, etc. It was all about him and getting paid. Nothing more.

All the time, and they usually don't notify me until right before my scheduled appointment

Definitely! I could hardly stand to be in the room

I left feeling very confused and frustrated my first visit as his door was locked& he did not leave me a message to tell me that he canceled (rather he forgot his new patient; as I called him from his locked office). He didn't tell me anything about my treatment options& instead treated me like a drug seeker due to my recent college graduation, despite excruciating migraines& the mental problems they were causing. Whenever I tried to interject my input or concerns, he just used 3rd rate formal logic to tip-toe around the issue I was concerned about. He pretty much just humored me while I talked out my own problems while staring at his iPhone the entire time(I would have just taken a walk in the woods& talked to the trees for free if I had known). I don't think he was genuine or well-trained when it came to interacting with real people as he never once made direct eye contact. He was did not practice good hygiene himself as he smelled of sweat from across the room. He definitely knew what he was doing in regards to medical extortion. He said he would call in a prescription which never arrived; so as to make me to come back to his office for 10 minutes to bill me hundreds of dollars on a cpt billing code that is only used for revenue (yea I am a pre-med with a psych minor) . I was somewhat uneasy during my appointment because his office was reminiscent of a messy College dormitory. He kept staring away from my face when I was facing him or texting on his phone while was talking. When I called him out on it he denied it! I was never able to fully relax as he obviously never trusted me from my first visit almost like Colombo investigating a fake homicide. He only wanted enough information to piece together a diagnostic code to make the most money. He suggested I should use my old therapist for talk therapy& himself as a medicine man (again so as to use the billing code). He discouraged only one of my negative behaviors (the ganja for meditation& stress relief) despite my reasoning (chronic pain& migraine) without an explanation or even helpful advice & alternatives. He did not want to answer why my sleep pattern was erratic, medication interactions or anything medically serious at all (I have been seeing Nuero's since I was 12 so I know how to spot croakers). He seemed to want his receipt signed while leaving the clock was ticking to make the most money. He would also make unexpected trips to his personal bathroom for 10 minutes at a time, even if I was in the middle of discussing an issue.

No, If I had known how terrible they were I never would have gone.
