Dr. Miknowski is very good at what he does. He is smart and intuitive. He moves quickly, but does not mind stopping or slowing down to answer questions, but the patient needs to be comfortable doing that. He does the initial appointment work in the exam room, and then you move to his office to discuss diagnosis, treatment, and nail down next steps. He's very good at diagnosing problems with limited information at the outset. He has a bit of an accent but will repeat himself when asked. He seemed a little gruff to me at first, but now I'm very comfortable with him. He's great as a rheumatolgist as well as a primary care physician. Finally, I've had a number of judgmental doctors in the past, and he is certainly not one of them.
