Be cautious and do your research. During late-2013, Jurand was convicted of having had inappropriate sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl. He's now a registered sex offender in West Virginia. If he's continuing to practice medicine, beware and make prudent decisions.

Jurand was unhelpful and rude during our interactions. Be aware that the then sixty year old who resided with his daughter at 6145 Shepherdstown Pike in Shenandoah Junction, WV and practices or has practiced in Martinsburg, WV, Charles Town, WV, Hagerstown, MD and Shepherdstown, WV was charged with two counts of sexual assault in the third degree and one count of sexual abuse. He was arrested April 13, 2013 following an investigation by Det. Tracy Harrison of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.He was arraigned April 29 in Jefferson County Circuit Court and is walking the streets on over 30,000 bond according to reporting in Hagerstown and Martinsburg newspapers which cites court records. He is represented by an advertising DUI lawyer from Martinsburg, WV: Craig Mansford.

I didn't appreciate that they didn't take the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits. I had to do my own research. Most of the time, they don't call me back for quite a while, but they've called me back quickly once or twice. They weren't friendly at all. They were extremely rude and impolite. They weren't careful at all, and I was in a lot of pain after my appointment. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.
