He is a great doctor. He kept me out of the pain I now have to suffer with that he has retired because I can't find another doctor around that knows what they are doing. They want to send you to this Dr and that Dr all the time I am suffering. Doctor Garfield took care of me for years and kept me from suffering! I sure do miss him. All I do these days is sit and cry from pain!

Best pain management physician I have had. Took charge of my multiple issues. I am now in a manageable day-to-day situation would have happened without Dr. Barfield's initiative and expertise.

Dr, Barfield is one of, if not the most meticulous physician of any kind that I have ever seen. He does not take things at face value but looks for the meaning of atypical symptoms, and he has not fallen into the "insurance doctor" trap. He is faithful to his own medicine and not to the pre-packaged offerings of the insurance community. His concern for his patients' welfare is sincere though not necessarily effusive; he demonstrates his caring through the excellent medicine he practices. This is no cookie cutter doctor but a real live physician who is practicing for the benefit of his patients and not his wallet or that of the insurance companies. Bravo, Dr. Barfield
