Interests: I am interested in all levels of wellness: developing body-mind awareness in the process of holistic healing and development. Starting with our personal mental, physcial and emotional health, will eventually impact our societal health and the wellness of our earth's ecosystems.
I am interesting in promoting strong cross-cultural relationships in one's community, honoring and respecting and honoring diversity race, ethnicity, gender and sexual identity, religious practices and individual expression.
I have been involved in multicultural education in the Wood River Valley community for 22 years. As more and more children appreciate and learn about diverse cultures, languages and lifestyles, our future generations will be more fulfilled and our society will be enriched.
Personally, I am fluent in Spanish; I love using Spanish with bilingual and monolingual people in our community; I try to visit Latino countries when I can.
I also love spending time in the outdoors; walking, hiking and skiing are some of my top choices for health, balance a happiness!
