I’m a fourth generation dentist and my strong academic influence was acquired from my parents.
In February 2012, I graduated with honors from the Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in the Dominican Republic with a degree in Dental Medicine (DDS). In March 2012, I was selected as the winner of the Latin-America Colgate-Palmolive Scholarship Award; to enroll in the NIH supported Post-Doctoral Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Puerto Rico. Subsequently, in 2014 I decided to complete a two years of a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Puerto Rico.
During my undergraduate and post-doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to participate as a volunteer providing dental care to the underserved population in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. This has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career and as a human being. I’m very passionate and committed to my career. I like to be up-to-date with the new trends in the field to provide my patients the best possible service by attending continued education seminars and conventions.
