I recently moved to the neighborhood and I went to see her for my annual checkup. As this was my first visit with her I had to complete all the paperwork and answer all the questions regarding my medical history. I was surprise that the Dr. herself will do this and I felt it was very positive. Unfortunately my health and medical history is a little complicated so the process took at least 40 Minutes. When the Dr. finished the questions I asked her to check on a dark spot I have on my back and another on my eye. She took a look and referred me to see a dermatologist. After this she said that the appointment took too much time from her and if I wanted to continue the conversation she will have to charge me for an extra “”Office Visit”. I didn’t like it and I inmediattly felt abused and stop talking to her so the visit ended. For my surprise I got and invoice from her charging me for 2 visits the same day, when I called to ask why I was told by the billing department that I asked the Dr. to do things outside the annual checkup and I have to pay for it. I told them that she only referred me to a dermatologist and she did not take care of it but I still have to pay. I think this is very unprofessional and too much business oriented Dr. I will never return.
