This doctor's office has recently tried to scam my mother. She went in to get vaccines, charged her for the vaccines (even though her healthcare provider DOES cover vaccines), then turned around and charged her health insurance provider for a level 4 comprehensive exam that NEVER occurred. The billing office is handling this issue very poorly. The workers at the front desk refused to send an itemized receipt of the vaccination visit to my mother's health insurance. Every time my mother tries to get in contact with the billing office about this issue, they claim to be "looking into it" and that's all that is said. This doctor's office is greedy, poor with communication and lacks integrity altogether. DO NOT GO HERE. I am disgusted with this practice.

For the last six years I have been a patient of Dr. Prasad @ Urgimed, that is until today. As of today, I will be finding a new physician. A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and was given an antibiotic for 15 days. I took all the medication as prescribed. Within 2 days the infection was back. I went back and was prescribed another antibiotic and was sent for a chest xray to rule out pneumonia. I went the very next morning to Medical Park Imaging in Denville. After waiting all day for a phone call from Urgimed, I called them and was told they did not have the results of my xray yet. I returned to work today and still did not hear from Urgimed with any results. I contacted Medical Park Imaging and was told the results were faxed to Urgimed yesterday afternoon. After being at work all day today and starting not to feel that great in the afternoon, I again contacted Urgimed to be told they did not receive the fax until this afternoon and that my results were sitting on the doctor''s desk and I was still not able to find out if I had pneumonia. After leaving a very strong message with the office a miracle happened and Urgimed called my home and asked that I call. I pulled my car over and called the office and again had to answer the reason for my call, when my name should have sufficed. After waiting again, the office worker finally came back on the line with an answer. Obviously, it doesn't seem important to Dr. Prasad to take 5 mins. to read the results of an xray and let her patient know if they have pneumonia. I will never again return to Urgimed for such lack of unprofessionalism and disregard for the patient's anxiety.
