I graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and did my Family Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. As of 2013, I have been practicing family medicine for 15 years at this same location right after residency. I like my practice environment in that I see a variety of illnesses and a large mix of patients. My patients are of various ethnicity and wide range of ages. They come from San Leandro and surrounding communities such as Oakland, Alameda, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Union City and as far as Fremont and Pleasanton. I try to do what is best for my patients, and advocate for them in a sometimes difficult practice environment.

Dr Zhang has been my primary doctor since about 2005. No matter where I have moved in the San Francisco bay area, I have continued to see Dr. Zhang. He is very attentive, enthusiastic, and addresses all of my concerns. He is also willing to refer me to a specialist whenever necessary. He is humble, a real gentleman, and always has a smile. A credit to the profession.

I wouldn't think twice about sending my friends and family here. They are very good at what they do. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence.
