Dr. Frei is a board certified General Surgeon and has practiced at the Bend Memorial Clinic since 1983. He graduated from the Univ. of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1978. He completed his surgical residency at the Univ. of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas and at Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1983. In addition to his board certification in General Surgery. Dr. Frei has added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a past president of the Oregon Chapter. He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, is certified in Breast Ultrasound and a participant in the Mastery of Breast Surgery Program.
