Education Dr. Kowalski joined Bend Memorial Clinic in 2001. Dr. Kowalski received his medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences Univ. in Portland and completed his residency at the Univ. of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Kowalski is certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons with a Breast Ultrasound Certification and is a certified participant in the Mastery of Breast Surgery Pilot Program.
