I'm very frustrated with this office, unfortunately I am at their mercy right now since they have me on medication that can cause life threatening side effects and withdrawal symptoms. The upfront desk staff act annoyed when I call about getting my scripts refilled. They don't get back to the pharmacy's requests for refills. All of the staff needs to be informed of the danger of skipping doses of some of the meds. The on call weekend answering service says you can only discuss emergency situations with the doctor on call & medication is not an emergency. Let me just say that some of their patients very well could become an emergency if they don't refill their medicine. One of the receptionists told me to order the medicine 7 days ahead since my particular PA is only there a few days a week. The problem with that is that my insurance company will not fill any of my scripts if they are refilled before they are due!! Very frustrating !!
