Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I called from another SNF trying to speak with the Business Office Manager due to a former resident of theirs admtted to our facility, due to they were very unhappy with Metroplex Care Center. I was told by somebody who could barely speak English that the BOM was on break & they didn't know when she would be back. They were not willing to take a message. I asked to speak with the Administrator & was told they were on vacation this week. I asked if anybody was around & again was told they were all on their break at 1:20 in the afternoon.

I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I had to wait for a little while after I arrived for my appointment, but I've had to wait longer at other places. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. After being admitted they banned my wife from coming to see me, isolating me from family.
