As my wife stated,we took our precious kitten who was absolutely fine(always eating, always drinking and OVERLY playful)when I arrived to have her spayed. When I signed in I noticed at least several other cats scheduled for spaying on that day.She weighed 4.07 pounds which was just over the minimum weight of 4 pounds for spaying.Keep in mind the amount of anesthesia is dependent on the cats weight.I dropped her off at 10:30 AM and was told by the staff to call between 3 or 4 oclock to pick her back up unless they deemed her to be sick or have a problem which they would reschedule the spaying and call me to pick her up.I did not receive a call from their office so at 3 oclock I called them excited to pick her back up.I was informed by one of the assistants that the doctor wanted to speak to me.I still thought nothing of it until the vet proceeded to tell me that unfortunately when our kitten was put under with anesthesia she went into cardiac arrest and passed away. She then proceeded to tell me that our kitten must have had something wrong with her such as leukemia. She also said it could have been liver problems because they shaved her belly and said it was yellow.I DONT BELIEVE EITHER ONE OF THOSE EXCUSES.I truly believe a mistake was made and she was overmedicated and she passed away.ALSO,THEY WAITED UNTIL I CALLED AT 3PM TO TELL ME INSTEAD OF HAVING THE COURTESY TO CALL ME WHEN IT HAPPENED....Oh wait, maybe they needed time to come up with the liver or Leukemia angle. She was the most affectionate, playful kitten I have ever been around....She was my little buddy.Folks, think before you take your pet to this establishment, ask questions......I dont want anyone else to go through this horrible experience.I miss my little Buddy.
