These are all offered to our clients in a comfortable, private atmosphere. Our professional, certified staff can supply all of these essentials at one location with free parking and easy access to the Maine Turnpike and Interstate 295 in Portland, Maine. The folks at The Special Place were wonderful to me when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. They were so helpful in measuring me for a wig, ordering it, and showing me how to care for it.
Their line of clothing and prosthesis were also much appreciated. They made a difficult time much more manageable. I have highly recommended them to a number of people.

I always find the things I need for daily living. It is much more difficult to find such things as bathing suits and undies since my mastectomy. The staff is supportive and caring and help me find items that make me feel "normal". And, items can be bought there or ordered (and are received quickly). It is an amazing place.
