My pet died in their care due to a misdiagnosis and if I were you I would think twice about bringing your beloved pet here. They didn't listen to anything I had to say! Whenever I tried to get a word in, they either interrupted me or cut me off before I could finish. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Tufts then lied to me regarding the care my dog had received. They failed to administer a required medication and instead adminiistered a medication that caused his death. Completely unethical.
I decided to admit my pet here and now wish I hadn't. My pet looked absolutely terrible when I picked him up, My pet was obviously not well taken care of. Tufts recommended costly exploratory surgery for my dog when they knew that he had parasites causing his illness (this fact was withheld from me prior to surgery). Tufts then failed to treat the parasites, but informed me that they had. It appears he was used as a science project by inexperienced vets. My dog was just as sick from the untreated parasites whenTufts discharged him, plus weak from the inappropriate surgery. It was a terrible experience. Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. That's just bad business.
