Absecon Veterinary Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite with laser surgery, in-house x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels.

At Absecon Veterinary Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed in my recent experience with Absecon Vet and Dr Grossman. After having several procedures, checkups, and shots for my Yorkie, I felt I could trust their boarding facilities to take care of my dog. Big mistake. I wish they were just as eager to take care of my dog as they were to take my money. After his 10 day stay, my Yorkie came home 3 pounds lighter and had an eye infection. Although they claimed he ate all his food, I find it hard to believe that to be true and he lost 3 pounds. As for the eye infection, they did not even show enough care to clean the sleep out of his eyes before my husband picked him up. If that wasnt enough, Dr. Grossman, on a courtesy visit for his eye infection, rudely dismissed me as a patient. He should have bent over backwards to rectify the situation and make me happy and my dog in the same condition as he was before his stay at Absecon Vet.
