Jennifer Newcomer was by far the best therapist I have ever had, and I have tried several over the years. She was real, down to earth, helpful, had common sense, actually gave me useful advice, and showed me how to apply the skills I learned. I felt like she actually cared about my well being. She listened to me and understood how I was feeling. I would highly recommend her. I felt a lot better after going to her.

Our marriage counselor/psychologist dumped us as a couple after two visits and said he would only see us individually. He said we were dysfunctional and confusing and asked the wife if she knew she was a very big part of the problem. I feel very insulted, and stupid, because I knew we probably needed someone with more education, finesse, experience and IQ. He was afraid to demean the man, but was quick to insult the woman. No wonder he has only been married once and for only five years. At 71 years old probably why he's still working, he picks the easy cases and dumps the complicated ones. Lord knows he's not in it to help people.
