Phumeza Msikinya, MD, received a bachelor’s degree in science from University of Transkei in Mthatha, South Africa. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from University of South Africa. She also received a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica.
She previously practiced in a family medicine and specialty care setting. She also spent time as a zoology tutor and career counselor at the University of Transkei in South Africa. She has special interests in preventive medicine, medical education and office procedures.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and golf, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her two sons.
