Dr. Weisner took care of me with a minor urological issue. He was timely and thorough and very sensitive to my modesty. He ran the tests I needed immediately in the office. He listened to all of my concerns and I felt reassured by his manner and the explanation of my diagnosis. I would recommend him.

The doctor was great. The waiting room staff were distant and aloof. The environment in the waiting room was "outdated and clinical" for lack of a better term...I felt like I was visiting a doctor's office from the 70's when I was a kid. I had to wait 5 weeks for a first available appointment. Then I waited more than a half hours in the waiting room even though I had completed all paperwork prior to arriving for my visit and I then waited an hour in the exam room for the doctor. Novant however, scheduled my CT Scan within 24 hrs of my initial dr's visit and offered several appointment offers. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for 1 month after my initial dr's appointment, but the CT Scan took place just 2 days after my initial visit with the doctor. I sent the email below to the dr's office on 7-25-16...

Good Morning, hope everyone's day is off to a great start! I actually had my CT Scan last Wednesday, 7-20-16. I was wondering if my follow-up appointment is going to be moved up from 7-25-16 to an earlier date? Whatever my issue is, there are times when it causes me a great deal of pain. It was so bad Saturday night that I was not able to sleep at all...that is not an exaggeration. However, it was not that bad last night and I was able to sleep. It is just so unpredictable. Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Subject: Update Regarding Appointment Request
At this time there is no available appointments prior to your 8/18/16 appointment. Please call us anytime to see if there is a cancellation we can put you in.

No concern for the pain I described being in, not polite, not "warm", no offer to make me aware of any cancellations, but put the responsibility on me to call them to see if their had been any cancellations...WOW!... and of course, no actual signature.

I guess to sum this experience up, in closing, I would say that other than my experience with the doctor himself, I had a terrible experience. Let me correct that actually, the nurse that came to take me from the waiting room to the exam room was great as well, very warm, very personable. The uncaring "vibe" put off by the rest of the staff made all of the waiting and the overall visit a very unpleasant experience.
