If this provider was not logistically convenient for me to visit, I would not give them the time of day. The doctors may be good but the administration and management is downright pitiful. From the operator to the office manager- it's quite clear that they only care about the income they generate and not the patient care. Emails and voicemail are not returned and paperwork addressing patient care is left unattended for days on end. My was left unattended for 10 days. I will be filing a separate complaint with the state of Hawaii Department of Labor.

This clinic has been one of the most difficult medical facilities to work with. They will not schedule an appointment unless printed authorization paperwork is faxed directly to them from the insurance carrier AND printed copies of medical records are in their hands. Once those two things are in place, the DR will review these items and if that DR agrees to see the patient only THEN will an appointment be set. This process alone takes about three weeks to one month to accomplish. Appointment scheduling is then about month's delay - so from getting the referral to actually seeing the DR expect at least two months of waiting. Once in to see the DR, that person may or may not be ready for your appointment - sure they preview your details, but their computer system may not be updated with your information so during the appointment its as if you never provided medical records or referral information. My appointment was scheduled for 1pm, however I was not seen until 2pm. Since this clinic works with legal cases, the DR will take telephone calls from lawyers about other patients cases at any time during the business day without much care for delaying previously schedule appointments. Its too bad Hawaii is so limited in specialty clinics like this one - I'd suggest going somewhere else if possible.

I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered.
