was seen by Dr. Boyce - as part of the medical exam I had to have a refraction for which I had to pay since the insurance does not cover prescriptions for glasses. When I asked for a prescription (for which I paid) I was told that I do not need new prescription. When I asked for the prescription anyway since I paid for it, I was given such a run around that I simply could not believe it. I still do not have it. Have called several times, was told that I would be called back - nothing so far. Very unhappy.

Just like the reviewer said before me..........waited 45 min to see Dr Boyce after staff said she'd be right in. Truth was, she wasn't even in the building! Been going there for a number of years, but tired of all the waiting around. My time is just as valueable as theirs. Will be finding a new eye doctor for my next check up.

The last time I called for an appointment I got the run around, They asked about my insurance then told me they were booked up for regular eye exams for 4 months. I said I would make an appointment 4 months out. The receptionist then blew me off and told me that I could get a regular exam at Vision Works, Sears and lots of other places. However, if any problems were found they would be glad to take of those problems. Guess my insurance doesn't pay enough for a regular eye exam. They'll never see me again.

They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was easy enough to find.

After dilating my eyes, I was told it would be just a few minutes for the doctor. Waited almost an hour sitting in a room with no explanation. Dr. Boyce is unfriendly, not helpful, very rude really...in a hurry!

The optical office is most unfriendly and expensive. Woman sat in a chair reading a magazine and offered no help to me while I looked for frames. When I asked for an estimate, she acted as though she really didn't want to bother. When I received the estimate it was exorbitant. I then took my prescription to a national leading optician and received the same pair with the same lenses for a third less in price.

This office tries to act professionally, but falls short and they are much more concerned with appearances than substantive client care.
