Jim was the first acupuncturist that I had ever gone to. I was not a believer in this medical practice until after a couple visits and my lower back pain was alleviated. Jim only does what you are comfortable with and does not push any of his services, he only offers them. He is very knowledgeable and will take time to explain the suggested procedures and answer your questions. I feel very comfortable recommending him.

The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. As he is new to the area and in this office, I was impressed with the rapport demonstrated between he and office staff, as well as fellow professionals. He is well-versed in many aspects if holistic healing, and very knowledgeable about his craft and the field of Chinese medicine He made me feel special and respected, and was very sympathetic to my situation. I've never. I been treated with more kindness and empathy. I loved that I felt like a personal friend or a professional colleague, instead of a patient with a problem.He took the time to get to know me and it really made all the difference in the world! Thank you! After my treatment, I started experiencing a few side effects, but it was bearable, and not unexpected. I would definitely recommend him to people I know, in fact I already have! I was more than happy with the treatments, and felt very comfortable in his care due to his competence, and warm, peaceful approach.

I cannot say enough good about Jim Slaymaker's practice. He is incredibly attentive to his patients and very experienced at his practice. He treats his patients with kindness, respect, compassion and concern.

I always feel better after a visit to Dr. Slaymaker. He has an open mind regarding Western and Oriental medicine. I never felt pressured into unnecessary or expensive treatments. The office felt comfortable and safe, and was easy to locate. He should update his sound system but he makes the effort to provide soothing, relaxing music. Dr. Slaymaker was always polite and respectful in manner and speech. He is also well-regarded by other patients and practitioners to whom I have spoken.
